Hola Kids Spanish Immersion Program
Hola Kids is an eight week program designed to teach your little ones Spanish. We meet once a week for fifty minutes and promise your kids will have fun learning Spanish. We develop children’s language skills using a range of engaging research-based activities, including games, crafts, dance and movement, singing and more.
All sessions cover the basic components of greetings, colors and numbers. Each session is arranged by weekly themes. Some of the themes that we cover are; Shapes-sizes, Rhymes, opposites-sequences, numbers-counting, our environment, transportation-travel and more.
Hola Kids knows that all the kids are not at the same level so instructors work individually and track each kid’s progress. To improve in the learning process and see results faster, we recommend that kids and instructors meet more than once a week.
Spanish Immersion Program Kids GroupsTiny Tot’s Group (1 – 3 years old)Kids and parents or caregivers will be participating in a structured and engaging play based learning experience in Spanish. Children will be introduced to basic vocabulary through songs, games, puppets, activities and dancing. Every week students and their parents or caregivers will learn new words and phrases based on the basic themes of colors, numbers, animals, shapes and more.
Tiny Kids Group (3 – 5 years old)At this age kids are able to integrate and add vocabulary, phonetics and sounds, small phrases and develop language skills through the use of music, games, puppets, songs, crafts and more. All the activities are run according to the weekly theme and the student’s age and ability. At the end of the class, Kids will bring a brief explanation of what they have learned that day, and a home-work sheet to work on.
Super Kids Group (5 – 8 years old)At this age kids add more advanced vocabulary, identify phonetics and sounds, and learn conversational phrases. They continue to develop language skills through music, songs, crafts, indoor/outdoor exploration, competitive games and more. We introduce reading and writing at this level. All the activities are run according to the weekly theme and the student’s age and ability. At the end of the class, Kids will bring a brief explanation of what they have learned that day, and a home-work booklet or book to work on.
